Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine calibration of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records, certificates, and databases.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust precision measuring equipment to meet specifications.
  • Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with ISO standards, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage calibration schedules and coordinate with production to minimize downtime.
  • Support internal and external audits related to calibration systems.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in electronics, metrology, or a related technical field, or equivalent military training.
  • 2+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, or instrumentation within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using and troubleshooting various measurement and test equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, dimensional).
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant metrology standards (e.g., ISO 17025).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and calibration procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing calibration management software (e.g., Fluke MET/CAL, Beamex CMX).
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 requirements or other quality standards (e.g., GMP, AS9100).
  • Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
