Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of fabrication technicians, fostering a productive work environment.
- Oversee daily fabrication operations, ensuring production schedules and deadlines are met.
- Ensure all fabricated components adhere to quality standards and design specifications.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication area.
- Optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and hands-on support for complex fabrication tasks.
- Coordinate material requirements and equipment maintenance for the fabrication department.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Expertise in various fabrication processes including welding (MIG, TIG), cutting (plasma, laser), bending, and forming.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train fabrication teams, fostering a productive work environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards, lean manufacturing principles, and workplace safety regulations.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design review and interpretation.
- Advanced welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2) or specialized welding techniques.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in operating or programming CNC fabrication equipment (laser, plasma, press brake).
