Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing department activities and personnel.
• Ensure finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Optimize production schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing department personnel on processes and safety.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies within the department.
• Identify and resolve production issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong technical knowledge of various finishing processes, equipment, and quality control methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to meet output and quality targets.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high product quality standards and implementing continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting production issues and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification or practical experience
• Proficiency with automated finishing equipment or relevant software systems
• Experience in developing and delivering technical training programs for production staff
• Advanced knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) or other quality assurance methodologies
• Familiarity with CAD software for reviewing product specifications or troubleshooting
