Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain statistical forecast models for assigned product lines, utilizing historical data and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product management to gather insights and refine demand forecasts.
  • Analyze historical sales, market trends, promotional activities, and other demand drivers to adjust and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Participate actively in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to present demand plans and align with supply chain capabilities.
  • Monitor and report on forecast accuracy and bias, identifying root causes for variances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage demand planning for new product introductions (NPIs), ensuring timely and accurate initial forecasts.
  • Utilize demand planning software and ERP systems to generate, manage, and publish consensus forecasts.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills for data interpretation and forecast accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain principles, and inventory management.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, O9).
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python) for forecasting model development.
  • APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
