Salary Range: $50,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Bookkeepers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices for raw materials and operational supplies.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers for manufactured goods and payment application.
• Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Process payroll for all employees, including production staff, ensuring compliance.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate classification of transactions and manufacturing costs.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements such as the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Track and record fixed assets and associated depreciation for manufacturing equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and production-related financial transactions.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., inventory valuation, COGS).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with inventory management processes.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting or intercompany transactions.
