Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot control systems including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and motion control.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in automated production lines.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, programming logic, and operational procedures.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new automation technologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and configuring PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMIs.
• Experience with industrial robotics, motion control systems, or machine vision.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and SCADA systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Sick) for quality inspection or guidance.
• Familiarity with IIoT platforms and data integration from OT to IT systems (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA, cloud platforms).
• Knowledge of specific industry compliance standards (e.g., GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISA-95).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI) for process optimization and reporting.
