Salary Range: $116,000 - $165,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects for process improvement, new product introduction, and equipment upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Manage the engineering department's budget, resources, and project timelines effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D teams to achieve operational goals.
• Ensure all engineering activities and designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement long-term engineering strategies to support manufacturing capabilities and innovation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing).
• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
• Strong project management skills, particularly for manufacturing process improvements or new product introduction.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies, IoT, or advanced automation.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for manufacturing operations.
• Track record in New Product Introduction (NPI) and scaling manufacturing processes.
