Salary Range: $110,000 - $159,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of manufacturing engineering projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize production processes and efficiency.
• Ensure the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support new product introductions.
• Manage departmental budget, resources, and project timelines to meet operational goals.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and safety protocols within manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial) within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Ability to drive strategic engineering initiatives and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies (e.g., IoT, advanced automation, predictive maintenance).
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for manufacturing operations.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
• Experience with specific Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill).
