Maintenance Technician | Norton Shores, MI

Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Execute timely repairs and corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime.
• Install, commission, and relocate new production equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues and improve reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with preventative maintenance (PM) programs and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication proficiency (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Robotics troubleshooting and programming experience
• HVAC system maintenance and repair experience
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
