Maintenance Technician | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and execute corrective maintenance.
• Install, troubleshoot, and commission new production machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, LOTO procedures, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Relevant vocational training or an Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including PLCs, motor controls, and sensors.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for identifying root causes of equipment failures.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and modification experience
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP PM or Maximo
• Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• HVAC/Refrigeration system troubleshooting and repair experience
