Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and maintenance of measurement tools and equipment.
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other advanced metrology instruments.
• Conduct dimensional inspections of manufactured parts, tooling, and assemblies.
• Analyze measurement data, identify deviations, and generate detailed inspection reports.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and manage the calibration schedule.
• Assist in the development and validation of new measurement programs and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with metrology equipment and test fixtures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and programming various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, hand gauges).
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Solid understanding of measurement principles, calibration processes, and metrology software.
• Experience with quality control standards and documentation of measurement data.
• A technical degree or certificate in metrology, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming CMMs (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) for model-based inspection or fixture design.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience with internal quality audits (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) or quality system documentation.
