Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and set up new robotic systems and automation equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial robots to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic systems.
• Repair or replace defective components, wiring, and sensors within robotic cells.
• Program and teach new robot paths, waypoints, and tasks using various programming interfaces.
• Document all maintenance, repair, and calibration activities accurately.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures while working with robotic machinery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field.
• Proven proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Strong understanding of PLC logic and ladder diagrams for automated manufacturing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing automation or robotics technician role.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing designs
