Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for product defects, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to improve product and process quality.
  • Manage supplier quality, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools for data analysis and process improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys).
  • Demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles; certification (e.g., Green Belt) is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
