Quality Supervisor | Newaygo, MI

Salary Range: $67,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control personnel on inspection procedures and standards.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and products to ensure adherence to established quality specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and records.
• Facilitate internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a quality team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent Lean/CI methodology expertise
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar relevant QMS
• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for advanced data analysis
• Experience in supplier quality management and development
