Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Oversee material planning and forecasting activities to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness of raw materials.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow throughout the manufacturing process.
• Utilize and maintain ERP/MRP systems for accurate material tracking, ordering, and inventory control.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for material handling, storage, and distribution processes.
• Monitor and report on key material metrics, including inventory turns, obsolescence, and material costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for inventory control, forecasting, and production planning.
• Strong understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles and inventory optimization strategies.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced planning systems (APS) or specific ERP module implementations (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM)
• Demonstrated experience in international logistics and customs compliance
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) for supply chain optimization
