Salary Range: $51,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shipping and receiving personnel, fostering a productive team environment.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics departments to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including verification of quantities and quality.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in the shipping and receiving areas.
• Manage and optimize warehouse space utilization for incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs forms.
• Resolve discrepancies and address any issues related to shipments or inventory promptly.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, including training and directing staff.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and shipping software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP).
• Strong understanding of shipping regulations, documentation, and logistics.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with international shipping regulations and documentation
• - Proficiency in inventory management software beyond basic WMS
• - Forklift certification or experience operating specialized lifting equipment
• - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application in warehousing
