Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Holland seeking Inspection Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Document inspection results accurately in quality management systems or inspection reports.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards to ensure product compliance.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional defects.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, SPC).
• Experience documenting inspection results and generating quality reports.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced measurement equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems, laser scanners).
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT).
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software and data analysis.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent problem-solving training.
