Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets.
• Balance production capacity with demand to ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and logistics to align production plans with business objectives.
• Monitor schedule adherence, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain production flow.
• Analyze material availability and lead times, integrating them into the production schedule to prevent shortages.
• Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize costs while meeting demand.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings to review performance, address issues, and finalize upcoming production plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) for planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and supply chain principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across departments.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar process improvement methodology.
• Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO, Oracle ASCP).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel modeling for scenario planning.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Project management experience, particularly in system implementations or process optimization initiatives.
