Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Cadillac seeking Quality Inspectors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products according to established procedures.
• Operate and maintain various precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Verify product compliance with engineering specifications, blueprints, and industry quality standards.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality-related issues and deviations.
• Generate inspection reports and communicate findings to production and management teams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills to identify defects and non-conformances.
• Familiarity with quality control methodologies and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or Vision Systems.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
