Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Manage and execute daily cycle counting and periodic physical inventory processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy within the ERP/WMS.
  • Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and prevent material obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing to ensure timely material availability and efficient flow.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials to maintain proper stock rotation and organization.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles, forecasting techniques, and supply chain best practices.
  • Experience implementing and managing cycle counting programs and physical inventories.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean or Six Sigma certification/experience
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
  • Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
  • Experience with automated inventory management systems (e.g., AS/RS, RFID)
