Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, servers, and network systems to ensure high availability for 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across office and shop floor environments.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect both IT and operational technology (OT) systems from threats.
• Administer and support manufacturing-specific applications, including MES, ERP integrations, and SCADA systems.
• Develop, implement, and test data backup and disaster recovery plans for critical production data and systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime and optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand IT requirements and optimize system performance for manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficient in managing network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) and industrial networking protocols.
• Expertise in virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with IT/OT convergence, including support for SCADA, MES, or PLC systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to implement and manage robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices relevant to both enterprise IT and operational technology environments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including SCADA, PLCs, or industrial networking.
• Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Understanding of IT infrastructure requirements and challenges on a production shop floor.
• Knowledge of IT compliance standards relevant to manufacturing (e.g., ISO 27001, GxP, NIST frameworks).
