Salary Range: $56,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior machinists.
- Setup, operate, and troubleshoot complex CNC machinery and manual equipment for precision parts.
- Conduct thorough in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Optimize machining programs, tooling, and processes for efficiency, accuracy, and reduced waste.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints and resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure continuous operation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Recommended Qualifications
- Extensive experience in CNC programming (G-code, CAM software) and operation of various machine tools (mills, lathes).
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, including team coordination and training.
- Strong proficiency in metrology, quality control, and maintaining tight tolerances for precision components.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for machining processes, equipment, and quality issues.
- In-depth knowledge of tooling, materials, fixture design, and their applications.
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, NX).
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to design or contribute to the design of jigs, fixtures, and specialized tooling.
- Proficiency in advanced metrology equipment and techniques (e.g., CMM operation, GD&T interpretation).
