Salary Range: $76,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality standards and procedures for suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Manage supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and track their effectiveness.
• Analyze supplier quality data and identify trends for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement preventative measures.
• Qualify new suppliers and approve incoming materials and components.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide regular feedback.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure supplier readiness.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools for identifying and resolving supplier quality issues.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• - ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification.
• - Experience in supplier development and auditing.
• - Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, electronics assembly).
