Salary Range: $77,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to qualify new suppliers and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Manage and approve supplier PPAP submissions for new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier non-conformances using tools like 8D.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
• Lead supplier development activities to improve quality systems, processes, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and purchasing teams on supplier selection and risk mitigation.
• Ensure supplier compliance with internal quality requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485).
• Proficiency in core quality tools (e.g., PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct supplier audits and assessments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and analysis.
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• - Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management system standards.
• - Experience with root cause analysis tools such as 8D or FMEA.
• - Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, Tableau).
