Key Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and repair precision tools, dies, molds, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to plan and execute machining operations.
• Operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM machines, with high precision.
• Perform precise measurements and quality checks using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tooling and dies to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Maintain and sharpen cutting tools and dies to ensure consistent and accurate production.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proficiency in operating various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM machines.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment, and material properties.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Knowledge of tool and die design principles and manufacturing processes.
