Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for production staff, covering safety, quality, equipment operation, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Assess training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analyses, and discussions with department supervisors.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, hands-on exercises, and e-learning modules.
  • Coordinate training schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations and efficient resource allocation.
  • Track and report on training effectiveness, measuring knowledge retention, skill application, and impact on key performance indicators.
  • Maintain training records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Identify and onboard external training providers and subject matter experts when specialized knowledge is required.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the manufacturing environment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training-related software.
  • Experience with needs analysis, curriculum development, and facilitator training.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and their integration into training programs
  • - Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking and reporting training
  • - Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety training best practices in a manufacturing environment
  • - Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or experience managing training projects
