Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, including new hires, upskilling, and cross-training initiatives.
  • Identify training needs through skills assessments, performance reviews, and collaboration with department supervisors.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, presentations, and hands-on exercises covering operational procedures, safety protocols, quality standards, and equipment operation.
  • Coordinate training schedules, logistics, and resources, ensuring minimal disruption to production while maximizing attendance and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through post-training assessments, feedback surveys, and monitoring of key performance indicators.
  • Maintain accurate training records, documentation, and certifications for all employees.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to manufacturing training.
  • Partner with external training providers or subject matter experts when specialized training is required.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Education).
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and training tracking.
  • Ability to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in training
  • - Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and their training requirements
