Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products from concept to mass production.
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Manage pilot production runs, identify manufacturing issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Bills of Material (BOMs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
• Design, procure, and qualify new tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for new product introduction.
• Drive yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives during the new product ramp-up phase.
• Conduct manufacturing risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for new product processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing).
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, FMEAs, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, selecting equipment, and creating detailed work instructions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with advanced PLM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Arena, Windchill)
