Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and qualify new manufacturing processes for product introduction.
• Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and qualify new production equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
• Lead and support pilot production runs, ensuring a smooth transition to mass production.
• Identify and resolve technical manufacturing issues and yield challenges during the New Product Introduction phase.
• Drive continuous improvement activities for NPI processes and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
• Proven expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and process development.
• Experience with manufacturing process validation, tooling design, and production line setup for new products.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM/ERP systems.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams from prototype to mass production.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD) for process optimization.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and smart manufacturing integration.
• Expertise in Design for Reliability (DFR) or Design for Serviceability (DFS) principles.
