Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for new product introductions (NPI).
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and validate new production equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Lead or support pilot production runs, ramp-up activities, and production readiness reviews.
• Create and maintain detailed work instructions, process flows, and control plans for NPI products.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing yield, quality, and efficiency during NPI phases.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks associated with new product launches.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering, or Product Development within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex NPI projects from concept to mass production.
• Proficiency with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Arena, Windchill, Teamcenter) and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes relevant to the industry (e.g., machining, electronics assembly, injection molding).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Proficiency with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD, Mold Flow).
• Experience with automated manufacturing processes and systems.
• Scripting or programming skills for data analysis or process automation.
