Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement innovative packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Optimize packaging materials and processes to improve cost-efficiency, sustainability, and quality.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of packaging designs and materials to ensure product protection and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain teams on packaging projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related issues on the production line to minimize downtime and waste.
• Ensure all packaging designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Manage packaging projects from concept to launch, including timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in packaging development or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in packaging materials (e.g., corrugated, plastics, paperboard) and their manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for packaging design and specification.
• Demonstrated ability to design, test, and optimize packaging for manufacturability, cost, and sustainability.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Experience with sustainable packaging materials and design principles.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for packaging design.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
