Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of assembly technicians.
• Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production schedules and achieve daily/weekly output targets.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve cross-functional challenges.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing assembly, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, including motivating staff and overseeing daily operations.
• Strong technical understanding of assembly processes, blueprints, bills of material (BOMs), and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints or CAD drawings
• Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling or basic troubleshooting of assembly equipment
