Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex calibrations on a variety of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality management systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair calibration failures or equipment malfunctions.
  • Manage and update the calibration schedule to ensure all equipment is calibrated within specified intervals.
  • Develop, review, and revise calibration procedures to optimize accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Select, use, and maintain appropriate calibration standards and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., electronics, metrology, instrumentation) or equivalent technical certifications.
  • 2+ years of experience performing calibration in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025, NIST traceability).
  • Proficiency in using and troubleshooting a wide range of test and measurement equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping abilities for documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with calibration management software (e.g., Beamex CMX, Fluke Met/Cal).
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
  • Basic understanding of PLC controls or industrial automation systems.
  • Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs or vision systems.
