Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily fabrication activities and production schedules.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of skilled fabricators.
- Ensure all fabricated components meet specified quality standards and tolerances.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and best practices in the fabrication shop.
- Optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fabrication equipment and processes.
- Coordinate material flow and resource allocation to meet production targets.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Expertise in various fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, cutting, forming) and operation of related machinery.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor a team, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are met.
- Strong knowledge of shop safety protocols, quality control procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for effective team coordination and issue resolution.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for reviewing designs or programming machinery.
- Relevant advanced certifications (e.g., CWI, specific CNC programming).
- Prior experience with ERP/MES systems for production tracking and data management.
