Salary Range: $48,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, collaborating with procurement and vendors.
• Generate customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, proactively follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve collection issues.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and other electronic disbursements.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries related to AP/AR.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies accurately and efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with an ERP system like SAP or Oracle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Knowledge of lien waivers and certified payroll.
• Familiarity with sales and use tax regulations.
