Supply Chain Manager | Montague, MI

Salary Range: $100,000 - $147,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams to align supply chain activities.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain processes.
• Mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and quality issues.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of optimizing inventory levels and reducing costs
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain software
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience in continuous improvement methodologies

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
• Experience with AI-powered forecasting or supply chain analytics tools
• Demonstrated success in sustainability initiatives within a supply chain context
