Salary Range: $65,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train tool room personnel on safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of tools, dies, and machinery.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all tool room equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support tooling requirements for new products and processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations within the tool room.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a tool room environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proficient in precision machining, grinding, and fabrication.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software for tool design and programming.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex tooling issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for tool design and fabrication.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin.
• Project management experience, overseeing tool room expansion or new equipment implementation.
