Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kentwood that are seeking Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control departments to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations, identifying areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with Inventory Management Systems (IMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse personnel.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and manage automation technologies (e.g., AS/RS, robotics).
