Warehouse Manager | Montague, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve material flow, space utilization, and productivity.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement departments to ensure timely material availability and seamless supply chain operations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols for warehouse environments.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs)
- Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
- Project management experience (e.g., PMP certification)
