Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders).
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into CNC machines.
• Perform quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain part specifications and quality.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for machine programming and adjustments.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Knowledge of tooling selection, offsets, and insert changes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
• Basic machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
