Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial robots.
  • Optimize existing automation systems to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Provide technical support and perform preventative maintenance on automated equipment.
  • Ensure all automation projects and systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to integrate new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
  • Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB) including programming, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, actuators, and electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize automated manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet) and data acquisition.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, Universal Robots).
  • Proficiency in developing and integrating industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or database integration for production data.
  • Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices and network architecture.
