Salary Range: $123,000 - $172,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Direct cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies and procedures.
  • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and recommending operational improvements.
  • Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure requests.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
  • Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced ERP system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for enhanced financial analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement or automation initiatives within a finance function.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
