Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
  • Program and re-program robot paths, logic, and teach points for new products or process improvements.
  • Calibrate robot systems and end-of-arm tooling to maintain precision and accuracy.
  • Install, configure, and commission new robotic equipment and integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize robot performance and resolve production bottlenecks.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with industrial robot programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, ladder logic, and HMI development/troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control circuits, and mechanical systems for automation equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to robotic systems, sensors, and end-of-arm tooling.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Fanuc iRVision)
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) or HMI development
  • Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and basic IT troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of data acquisition and analysis for predictive maintenance or process optimization
