Quality Supervisor | Fremont, MI

Salary Range: $66,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor quality inspection teams and technicians.
• Oversee all stages of product inspection (incoming, in-process, final) to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality non-conformances, customer complaints, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain, enforce, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation and procedures.
• Monitor key quality metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports on quality performance and trends.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, optimize processes, and enhance overall product quality.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or lead experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a quality team, with strong communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience developing and delivering quality training programs.
