Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and plant capacity.
• Balance production demand with available capacity and raw material supply to optimize inventory levels and meet customer delivery dates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, procurement, and logistics to align scheduling activities and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and key components, adjusting schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock.
• Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement schedule adjustments to improve efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Manage lead times and ensure the timely availability of materials and resources required for production.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to integrate long-range plans into the MPS.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and supply chain principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with advanced planning and optimization software (e.g., APS, finite capacity scheduling tools).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for performance tracking and insights.
• APICS CSCP certification or equivalent broader supply chain knowledge.
