Shipping & Receiving Clerk | Cadillac, MI

Salary Range: $41,000 - $61,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
• Accurately document and record all received and shipped items.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and staging.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery of shipments.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Ensure a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and inventory management software
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Bonus Qualifications

• - Forklift certification or experience operating a forklift
• - Basic understanding of inventory management software
• - Familiarity with hazardous material handling protocols
• - Experience with shipping carrier software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS)
• - Bilingual in Spanish (or other relevant languages)
