Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely weekly or bi-weekly payroll for all hourly and salaried employees, including overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses.
• Manage and verify employee timecards and attendance records, collaborating with supervisors to resolve discrepancies.
• Administer all payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, 401(k) contributions, and garnishments, ensuring compliance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including filing and reporting.
• Reconcile payroll data, prepare journal entries, and generate various payroll reports for management, finance, and audits.
• Process new hires, terminations, and employee data changes within the payroll system accurately and promptly.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping in a professional and timely manner.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience processing high-volume, multi-state payroll, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in payroll software (e.g., ADP, UltiPro, Workday) and timekeeping systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and FLSA regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Experience with payroll-related general ledger reconciliations and reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing-specific pay structures (e.g., shift differentials, production bonuses, piece-rate).
• Proficiency with advanced timekeeping systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, UKG Pro WFM).
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations, particularly for non-exempt production workers.
• Experience with HRIS/ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
