Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test PLC programs for automated manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex control system issues, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA problems.
  • Configure, integrate, and commission new control systems and automated machinery.
  • Create and maintain accurate electrical schematics, PLC code documentation, and system specifications.
  • Optimize existing PLC programs and control strategies to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Provide expert technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel on control system operation.
  • Ensure all programming and control system designs comply with safety standards and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and debugging PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Proven experience in industrial automation and controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) and network architectures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex automation issues.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
  • Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
  • Familiarity with database integration (SQL) for data logging and MES systems.
  • Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration.
