Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and network devices to ensure high availability for critical production systems.
• Implement and oversee data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for manufacturing data, applications, and operational technology (OT) systems.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems, including workstations, specialized manufacturing software (e.g., MES, ERP), and shop floor connectivity.
• Monitor system performance, security logs, and network traffic to proactively identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime in production environments.
• Administer Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies to ensure secure and efficient access to IT resources across the factory.
• Collaborate with Operations Technology (OT) teams to integrate, secure, and support IT/OT convergence initiatives and industrial control systems.
• Manage and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management, to protect manufacturing intellectual property and operational integrity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Demonstrated proficiency in network administration, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewall management.
• Proven ability to support and troubleshoot IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment, including OT systems and industrial networks.
• Experience with backup/recovery solutions and implementing cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide rapid resolution for critical system issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) environments or industrial control systems (ICS).
• Familiarity with common manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP) or SCADA systems.
• Experience with IT/OT security best practices and convergence.
• Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning for production-critical systems.
