Salary Range: $55,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of machinists in daily operations.
• Program, set up, and operate complex CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Ensure all manufactured parts meet strict quality control standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, machine malfunctions, and production bottlenecks.
• Optimize machining processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and improved throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new product development and prototypes.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on machining equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in precision machining, including advanced CNC and manual operations.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of machinists.
• Expert proficiency in interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and using various precision measurement tools.
• Strong knowledge of G-code programming, CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360), and machine setup.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot machining processes, optimize production, and perform routine machine maintenance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAM software for program optimization and creation (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs or optical comparators.
• Demonstrated ability to train or mentor junior machinists.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
